New Year Party at Hotel Savera (Chennai, India)

I was quite angered to note that one person lost his life and three more critical because of the recklessness of the Hotel Management. It beats me as to how the organizers could not think of max load on a temp structure and mitigate the risk. I understand if someone is motivated to make more money - but at what cost?

As expected, some Manager has been booked under a number of sections of IPC. What about the MD of the hotel - should he/ she not be booked for dereliction of their responsibility? (Recent News here)

The press is also colluding with the Savera Management by not flashing the name of the hotel. They only refer it as "a popular hotel in RKSalai"

There should be an outcry similar to that of Uphaar theatre and the management of the hotel should be brought to their knees.

Hats off to Aamir for making such a movie.

Much has been said about this movie in the print, visual media and Internet (sample) and I don't intend repeating them.

I would only insist that all the schools screen this movie for all teachers and parents compulsorily

It would be fit to call Aamir as Kamal of North (in the lighter vein, the similarity runs deep - he has separated from Kiran Rao , like Kamal from Sarika)
